Job Overview:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern who is passionate about storytelling through video and creating engaging digital content. This role offers hands-on experience working on real client projects and internal campaigns while building your editing skills and professional portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble video content for social media, digital campaigns, and advertisements
- Work with raw footage to apply transitions, effects, titles, and basic animation
- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm video concepts and storyboards
- Align all videos with brand guidelines and visual standards
- Perform basic sound design, audio clean-up, and colour correction
- Stay updated on editing trends, formats, and social media best practices
- Manage editing timelines and deliver tasks on deadline
- Share creative input during ideation and content strategy sessions
What You’ll Learn:
- Real-time experience working on agency-style creative projects
- Editing for multiple platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Fundamentals of motion design, colour grading, and storytelling
- Collaboration with designers, copywriters, and brand strategists
- Time and task management in a professional creative setup
Requirements:
- Basic to intermediate experience with editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or Canva
- Interest in short-form content, social media videos, and storytelling
- Creative mindset with attention to visual detail and pacing
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Access to a laptop/PC and a stable internet connection
- Bonus: Familiarity with motion graphics or visual effects
