Job Purpose
The Global MarTech Lead is responsible for defining and delivering Castrol’s global marketing technology (Mar-Tech) strategy across all Castrol PU’s, with a focus on the end-to-end customer experience. The role drives the development and optimisation of a scalable, data-driven MarTech that enables personalised, omni-channel engagement and delivers measurable business value.
The role defines product strategy, composes a compelling vision, and drives the full applications lifecycle—from concept through to launch, market rollout, and scaling, whilst identifying and leverages innovative digital approaches and tools to optimise customer journeys
Collaboration is critical, with close partnerships with Digital and Heads of PU’s and Marketing CoE, teams to co-develop and deploy solutions globally. Leverage the Digital Castrol Data teams to provide data-driven insights that enable effective sales and marketing outcomes.
A strong commercial approach is crucial to ensure the delivery of tangible, trackable business value.
Key Accountabilities!

Define and be responsible for the global strategy, aligning with marketing, digital, and enterprise business objectives to enable the optimisation of applications across CCM

Lead the roadmap and delivery of marketing technology platforms across the product lifecycle (concept to scale) refining product strategies, and analysing data sets to drive advised, decision-making.

Drive transformation of marketing capabilities through data driven, solutions and automation

Partner with Technology, Marketing CoE, and business teams to develop, build, and deploy global MarTech solutions

Optimise end-to-end customer journeys, ensuring seamless omni-channel experiences and effective data integration

Establish and supercritical metrics benchmarks to measure product performance, customer impact, and commercial value

Own case development & investment governance, ensuring clear cost-benefit analysis and value realisation

Ensure compliance with governance frameworks (e.g. Digital Security, GDPR, data privacy and risk standards)

Continuously evolve the MarTech landscape by finding opportunities to scale, standardise, consolidate, or retire platforms

Leverage external market trends, emerging digital technologies, and partner ecosystems to drive innovation and procedure to support development and deployment of digital solutions

Lead and influence cross-functional teams, encouraging collaboration & alignment across global and regional customers

Provide thought leadership and capability building across product management and MarTech subject areas

Support multiple concurrent projects, ensuring consistent delivery and alignment across a sophisticated global portfolio.

Education

Desirable a University degree level or equivalent experience or equivalent in computer science and/or Marketing
Skills and Experience!

Proven demonstrated ability leading global Mar-Tech, CRM, or digital solutions and applications e.g. Salesforce, CRM

Strong product management expertise across strategy, roadmap development, and lifecycle delivery

Deep understanding of marketing technologies (e.g. CRM, CDP, marketing automation, data platforms)
-
Track record of delivering data-driven customer experience transformation at scale

Strong commercial competence, with experience case development and value tracking

Experience operating within matrixed global organisations

Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and regulatory frameworks (e.g. GDPR)

Excellent customer management and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences

Ability to combine critical thinking with hands-on execution

Self-starter mentality with drive and motivation whilst also being an outstanding communicator who works well within a multidisciplinary team, bringing colleagues with them on a journey
