Position Overview
CropMentor Technologies is seeking an entrepreneurial, high-energy Store Manager to lead operations and sales for our upcoming high-volume retail outlet in Greater Noida. Managing a premium location with a target monthly turnover of ₹30,00,000, you will be entirely responsible for driving top-line revenue, protecting EBITDA margins, optimizing supply chains, and building a high-performing, customer-centric team.
Core Responsibilities
- Operations & Sales Management: Oversee daily store opening/closing procedures, cash management, and compliance. Implement aggressive local marketing and strategic sales plans to consistently hit and exceed the ₹30 Lakhs monthly revenue and EBITDA targets.
- Inventory & Stock Control: Actively monitor stock levels of agricultural products/inputs. Execute strict stock control techniques—specifically FIFO (First In, First Out)—to minimize shrinkage, aging stock, and wastage.
- Team Leadership & Culture: Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor a dedicated store team. Manage staff scheduling, track KPIs, and foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
- Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional service standards to our farming community and walk-in clients. Efficiently resolve customer escalations and track customer enrollment/loyalty programs to increase retention.
Candidate Profile & Criteria
As an HR leader, I have structured these criteria to attract a candidate who can handle high-value inventory and deliver sharp retail execution:
- Experience: 3 to 6 years of solid experience in Retail Store Operations and Sales. Experience in Agriculture retail, Agri-inputs, FMCG, or Rural retail formats is highly preferred. A proven track record of managing a store with a turnover of ₹15–30 Lakhs per month is a massive plus.
- Skills:
- Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of P&L, sales forecasting, and EBITDA.
- Expertise in retail inventory software and inventory control methods (FIFO, cycle counting).
- Excellent leadership, team-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Fluency in Hindi and working knowledge of English (to handle both local farming clients and corporate reporting).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness Management, Business Administration (BBA/B.Com), or a related field. An MBA in Retail or Agribusiness is an added advantage but not mandatory if hands-on experience is exceptional.
