About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and 3+ year experienced QA Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, developing, and executing test plans across multiple platforms. Experience with ERP system testing is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases, test plans, and test scripts
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing across web and desktop applications
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Excel, or similar platforms
- Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing/regression testing after releases
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, checklists, and standards
- (Preferred) Test ERP modules such as HR, Finance, Inventory, Purchase, Production, or Sales — including data migration, workflow validation, and end-to-end business process testing
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance
- Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies
- Proficiency in writing and executing detailed test cases and test plans
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills — written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Good to Have
- Experience testing any ERP systems
- Knowledge of SQL for backend/database validation
ERP Testing (Preferred Knowledge Areas)
- Module-level testing: Finance, Purchase, Inventory, HR, CRM, Sales, Production
- End-to-end business process testing across integrated ERP modules
- Data migration and data integrity validation
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support with business stakeholders
- Configuration and customization testing
- Understanding of ERP security roles and access control testing
Educational Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech / BCA / MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science or IT
