Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily shop floor operations, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and managing workforce efficiency in the casting and machining processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day production activities in casting / machining unit
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule
- Monitor quality standards and reduce rejection rates
- Handle and guide operators, helpers, and technicians
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and shift management
- Ensure proper utilization of machines, materials, and manpower
- Coordinate with maintenance team for machine breakdowns
- Implement safety procedures and ensure compliance on shop floor
- Maintain production reports, shift logs, and MIS data
- Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
Qualification
- Diploma / ITI / Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing)
- Freshers or 1–3 years experience in manufacturing
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
