We are seeking a diligent and skilled SIG Operator to join our manufacturing team in Varanasi. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining specialized industrial machinery to ensure efficient and high-quality production. This role requires a strong understanding of operational procedures, a commitment to safety, and the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. The SIG Operator will play a crucial role in our production line, contributing directly to the output and quality of our products.
- Operate and monitor specialized industrial machinery (e.g., SIG packaging machines or similar production equipment) according to established procedures and production schedules.
- Perform routine checks and adjustments to machine settings to ensure optimal performance, product quality, and efficiency.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections of products to identify and address any deviations from specifications or standards.
- Execute basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on machinery to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of machine components, to ensure longevity and reliability.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain accurate production logs, maintenance records, and quality control documentation as required.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, maintenance staff, and other team members regarding production status, issues, and maintenance needs.
- Assist in the training of new operators on machine operation, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure the work area is kept clean, organized, and free from hazards at all times to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Identify and report any mechanical or operational issues to the maintenance team promptly.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and efficiency.
