Salary: Rs. 20,000 – 25,000 per month (based on experience and qualification)

Reports To: Production / Project / Maintenance Head
Language Proficiency: English required; Tamil and Hindi desirable

Role Summary
The Civil Engineer will support infrastructure development, plant maintenance, construction activities, and civil project execution within the manufacturing facility. The role involves supervising site activities, ensuring structural quality standards, coordinating with internal departments, and maintaining compliance with safety and engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor civil construction, maintenance, and infrastructure activities within the plant.
- Ensure execution of civil works as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and contractor teams for smooth project execution.
- Conduct inspections of structures, foundations, drainage systems, and related civil works.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, BOQs, and compliance records.
- Monitor material usage and ensure quality standards are maintained during execution.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to civil engineering activities.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Support preventive maintenance and improvement initiatives for plant infrastructure.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
- Knowledge of structural works, industrial infrastructure, and maintenance activities.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
- Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage contractors and coordinate with multiple departments.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work in shifts and meet operational deadlines.
Education & Experience
- Diploma or B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 1–3 years in industrial construction, infrastructure maintenance, or manufacturing projects.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
Work Environment
- Location: Pondicherry Plant – PIPDIC Industrial Estate, Sedarapet.
- Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Shift basis)
