Key Responsibilities1. Shift Operations Management
- Oversee all toll booth operations during the shift.
- Ensure uninterrupted toll collection and lane availability.
- Monitor traffic movement and minimize congestion.
- Coordinate with maintenance and technical teams for equipment issues.
2. Staff Supervision
- Manage toll collectors, lane operators, and support staff.
- Assign duties and monitor employee performance.
- Ensure proper shift handover and attendance management.
- Provide on-the-job guidance and training when required.
3. Revenue Management
- Monitor toll collection and cash handling procedures.
- Verify cash reports, transaction records, and reconciliation statements.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls and company policies.
- Investigate and report discrepancies in toll revenue.
4. Customer Service
- Handle customer complaints and operational issues.
- Assist motorists during emergencies or special situations.
- Maintain professional interactions with road users.
5. Safety and Compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate with security personnel for incident management.
- Report accidents, violations, and unusual events.
- Maintain records and prepare shift reports.
6. Technology and System Monitoring
- Monitor toll management systems, FASTag/electronic toll collection systems, CCTV, and communication equipment.
- Escalate technical faults to the relevant departments.
- Ensure accurate transaction recording.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma (often preferred).
- Experience in toll operations, transportation, logistics, customer service, or cash management.
- Knowledge of toll management systems and electronic toll collection (such as FASTag).
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, reporting systems).
