About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the organization's accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, budgeting, and day-to-day finance activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to lead a finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial planning.
- Prepare and review payroll-related accounting entries.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and statutory authorities.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records and documentation.
- Monitor fee collections, outstanding receivables, and vendor payments.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and accounting policies.
- Support management with financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) is mandatory.
- CA Inter, CMA, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Experience in educational institutions is an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of ERP-based accounting systems.
- Sound understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and statutory compliance.
- Financial reporting and MIS preparation.
- Budgeting and cash flow management.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
