Rising Star Outreach of India was started on 2004 to work for the upliftment of Persons Affected by Leprosy. RSOI provides 3 major activities for the People Affected by Leprosy, they are 1. Education, 2. Medical and 3. Colony Development Activities.
In 2007, Peery Matriculation school was started for giving education to the children of Persons affected by Leprosy. We started the education program with 26 children in 2006 and we have around 400 students studying from 1st Standard to 12th Standard.

Post Graduate Teacher – English:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced teacher to join our group.
Key Responsibilities:
· Teaching and guiding students in improving English reading, writing and speaking skills.
· Provide lesson plans and teach them in classes.
· Interact with parents to inform them about performance of their children.
· Prepare daily lesson plans utilizing textbook materials, supplemental instructional materials, audio and visual aids, etc.
· Study, adapt and teach English as a Language methods and approach to content learning.
· Schedule and interact with parents and students periodically.
· Confer with school director, teachers, counsellor, psychologist and supervisors regularly.
· Provide behavioural and academic intervention for students as needed.
· Evaluate students through utilization of teacher made tests, standardized tests and observations.
· Participate in professional development activities like in-service, workshops, seminars, and conferences.
· Involve in co-curriculum and high-school community activities.
· Provide individual help to students to maintain continuous and satisfactory progress.
· Develop lesson and unit plans, course objectives and outline following curriculum guidelines and school’s educational philosophy.
· Teach students using project-based learning, lecture and demonstration, audio-visual aids and other materials to supplement instruction.

Qualification:
B. A English with B. Ed from recognized university
Freshers or Preference will be given to the candidates with experience in teaching experience.
Good communication skill in Tamil & English
Knowing Hindi is an added advantage
Should have the capacity to work in the team
Strong service, self-motivated with solid time management skills
