The Foundry responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing foundry equipment and utilities to ensure smooth production operations. The role involves preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement in plant reliability and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Induction furnaces
- Sand mixers, moulding machines, core shooters
- Shot blasting machines
- Compressors, conveyors, EOT cranes
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults and carry out repairs.
- Ensure minimum downtime by quick response to equipment failures.
- Maintain utilities: air compressors, cooling systems, dust collectors, and pumps.
- Execute lubrication schedules and maintain maintenance checklists.
- Support installation, commissioning, and relocation of machinery.
- Maintain spares inventory and coordinate for timely procurement.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure safe maintenance practices.
- Maintain maintenance records, logs, and daily reports.
- Support TPM, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
