Manual QA Tester Job Description :
As a Manual QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications through comprehensive manual testing. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to identify defects, verify functionality, and ensure the final product meets business and user requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Analyze project requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
- Create, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and usability testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
- Verify bug fixes and perform retesting before releases.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Participate in requirement discussions and provide quality-related feedback.
- Ensure applications meet quality standards before deployment.
- Maintain testing documentation, reports, and test execution records.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
Qualifications and Requirements :
- 0 to 1 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester or Software Tester.
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in testing web and mobile applications.
- Good knowledge of test case design techniques and defect reporting.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools (Jira, Trello, ClickUp, etc.) is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
