About (DDIA)
DDIA is responsible for all the Digital requirements of the IIT Kanpur such as planning, purchasing, executing, support-providing and maintaining all the digital assets and services including the cybersecurity, telephone exchange, Internet Services, etc.
Role Summary
Management and services related to Institute Network Infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance and management of the Campus Active Network (Wired and Wireless), Network Security,Internet Application Servers, and IP Telephony
Detailed Responsibilities
The institute now has a very large campus network. We need a well-qualified, experienced officer to manage and maintain the institute's network, Internet, and telephony services.
Desired Qualifications
B.Tech./B.E. with 60% marks
CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA and Radware IAS certified, Cisco Routers Administration Certificate.
Desirable Work Experience:-
At least 10 years of hands-on experience in Design, Integration, Installation and Troubleshooting of various network systems equipment, including Core/Distribution/Access switches, Firewall/UTM, Wireless Controller and Access Points, Load balancer, Video conferencing, Cyber Security (SOC), BGP Routing and VPN; IP Telephone services; Internet Application Servers, including NS, DHCP, Radius, Proxy, Syslog and LDAP.
