Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused MDS Specialist (Endodontist / Prosthodontist) to join our state-of-the-art dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide advanced restorative, prosthetic, and root canal treatments, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence, ethics, and patient satisfaction.Core ResponsibilitiesIf specializing in Endodontics: Root Canal Therapy: Perform complex single-session and multi-session root canal treatments (RCTs), endodontic retreatments, and apicoectomies.Diagnostics: Interpret complex dental radiographs (IOPA, OPG) and CBCT scans to diagnose pulpal and periapical diseases.Emergency Care: Manage endodontic emergencies, including trauma, severe pulpitis, and dental abscesses.Advanced Technology: Utilize rotary endodontics and dental microscopes for precision cleaning and shaping.If specializing in Prosthodontics:Restorations & Prosthetics: Design, fabricate, and fit custom dental prostheses, including crowns, bridges, veneers, complete dentures, and removable partial dentures.Implantology: Plan and execute implant-supported restorations, working seamlessly with surgical teams.Smile Designing: Perform comprehensive full-mouth rehabilitations to restore oral function, occlusion, and aesthetics.TMJ & TMD: Diagnose and manage temporomandibular disorders and orofacial pain.Shared Responsibilities:Treatment Planning: Develop customized, multidisciplinary treatment plans and discuss all options, risks, and prognoses with patients.Collaboration: Coordinate patient care effectively with general dentists, oral surgeons, and in-house dental laboratories.Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient medical records, radiographs, and progress notes.Compliance: Strictly adhere to infection control, OSHA/local sterilization protocols, and clinical safety standards.Qualifications & RequirementsDegree: Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in either Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics OR Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge.License: Valid, active registration with the relevant state dental council (e.g., Dental Council of India).Experience: Minimum of [insert number, e.g., 2-5] years of dedicated clinical post-MDS experience. Freshers with exceptional academic backgrounds may be considered for junior/associate roles.Soft Skills: Excellent communication, empathy, and the ability to put anxious patients at ease.Technical Skills: Proficiency with modern digital dentistry tools (e.g., digital smile design, intraoral scanners).
