Job Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team, achieving sales targets, driving business growth, and ensuring effective execution of the sales process through proper planning, reporting, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Plan and execute sales strategies for residential, commercial, and institutional solar projects.
- Monitor daily sales activities, team performance, and CRM updates.
- Review leads, site visits, quotations, follow-ups, and order closures.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.
- Conduct regular sales review meetings and provide guidance to improve team productivity.
- Coordinate with Tele-calling, CRM, Operations, and Management teams for smooth sales execution.
- Track sales pipeline, conversion ratio, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new sales team members.
- Build strong customer relationships and participate in key client meetings.
- Travel for market visits, business development, and team support as required.
Requirements
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience in target-based field sales and team handling.
- Knowledge of CRM, sales reporting, and pipeline management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
Experience:
4–6 years of sales experience with at least 2–3 years of team handling.
Experience in the Solar Sales, Electrical, EPC, is Mandatory.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Team productivity and conversion rate.
- CRM discipline and lead follow-up efficiency.
- Growth in sales pipeline and revenue.
- Customer satisfaction and team performance.
