Interiors by Ashwiinii Dongare is a premium turnkey interior design firm that crafts personalized, high-quality living spaces with a strong focus on creativity, functionality, and client-centric execution. To support our growing operations, we are seeking a Purchase Manager to lead and streamline our procurement process, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely and cost-effective material sourcing.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Vendor Management & Development
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors for multiple interior categories such as furniture, lighting, décor, fittings, and finishes
- Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors to ensure consistent quality, competitive pricing, and timely deliveries
- Conduct regular visits to supplier outlets, factories, and showrooms to assess material quality and explore new commercial opportunities
2. Material Procurement & Coordination
- Collaborate with designers and site supervisors to understand project-specific material needs
- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers for each category and present viable options
- Maintain a ready repository of material samples and alternatives to support creative design flexibility
- Ensure on-time procurement and delivery of materials to site or warehouse, avoiding project delays
3. Price Negotiation & Budget Alignment
- Negotiate competitive prices and contract terms while upholding product quality standards
- Ensure all purchases are aligned with approved project budgets and coordinate with design and execution teams accordingly
- Stay updated on market rates and pricing trends to uncover cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
4. Purchase Planning & Tracking
- Maintain purchase trackers for all active projects and update them regularly
- Coordinate dispatch schedules and logistics, and follow up rigorously with vendors on timelines
- Share periodic updates on pending materials, delivery status, and procurement approvals with all project stakeholders
5. Coordination with Internal Teams
- Work closely with the accounts department to ensure accurate invoice submissions, purchase order (PO) generation, and timely vendor payments
- Collaborate with design teams to gain aesthetic and technical approvals before placing orders
- Coordinate with site supervisors and project managers to align material procurement with execution schedules
6. Travel Readiness & On-Ground Support
- Be willing to travel within and outside Pune for vendor visits, sourcing trips, and urgent procurement needs
- Provide on-ground support for last-minute purchases, vendor finalizations, and quality checks
- Ensure accurate documentation and filing of all purchase transactions, invoices, and receipts
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in interior purchase/procurement
- Knowledge of interior materials and market vendors
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Basic understanding of BOQ and material estimation
- Strong coordination and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and vendors efficiently
- Immediate joiners preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
