About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef cum Restaurant Manager who can efficiently handle both kitchen operations and restaurant management. The ideal candidate should have strong culinary expertise across multiple cuisines along with the ability to oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a wide variety of dishes across multiple cuisines.
- Design and update innovative menus based on customer preferences and seasonal availability.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, presentation, and hygiene.
- Monitor food preparation and maintain consistency in every dish.
- Manage kitchen inventory, food costing, and minimize wastage.
Restaurant Management Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant.
- Supervise kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth functioning.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate procurement of food and kitchen supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness, equipment, and overall restaurant ambience.
- Handle administrative responsibilities including reporting, vendor coordination, and operational planning.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience as a Chef or Chef cum Restaurant Manager.
- Strong knowledge of multiple cuisines.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Good understanding of restaurant operations, inventory management, and food costing.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
