We are seeking a skilled Junior Architect to join our team for a high-rise building project.
We design the complete building architecture in-house and with our in-house construction capability, also execute the construction of all buildings in-house. We also have a full MEP design team in-house.
We undertake development of both commercial and residential projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design Development: Collaborate with engineers, to develop design concepts for high-rise buildings, considering architectural, structural, and environmental factors.
- Planning and Zoning Compliance: Ensure that the building design adheres to local building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
- Site Analysis: Conduct a thorough analysis of the site, including environmental and topographical considerations, to inform the design process.
- Conceptualization and Visualization: Create architectural drawings, 3D models, and renderings to communicate design ideas effectively to clients and project teams.
- Design Documentation: Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and material selection guidelines for the high-rise building project.
- Building Systems Integration: Coordinate with engineers and consultants to integrate structural, mechanical, electrical, and other building systems seamlessly into the design.
- Project Management: Oversee the implementation of architectural design during the construction phase, reviewing contractor submittals, conducting site visits, and addressing design-related issues.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that the high-rise building project meets design specifications, quality standards, and industry best practices.
- Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest architectural trends, construction technologies, and sustainable design practices to enhance the project outcomes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience (2-3years) working as an Architect on high-rise building projects, preferably with a focus on residential towers.
- Proficient in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards relevant to high-rise buildings.
- Excellent visual and verbal communication skills to effectively present design concepts and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload, and meet project deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address design challenges and ensure design integrity.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building practices is desirable.
- Professional licensure as an Architect is preferred but not mandatory.
- A portfolio of past high-rise building projects demonstrating design expertise and technical skills is required.
