Job Summary
We are looking for passionate and experienced teachers to join our academy. The ideal candidate should have expertise in one or more of the following disciplines:
- Bharatanatyam
- Carnatic Vocal
- Keyboard
- Veena
- Violin
The candidate should be enthusiastic about teaching students of different age groups and skill levels while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group classes.
- Teach students using a structured curriculum.
- Prepare students for stage performances, competitions, and certification exams.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop lesson plans according to students' skill levels.
- Encourage discipline, creativity, and confidence among students.
- Coordinate with management regarding schedules and student progress.
- Participate in academy events, workshops, and annual performances.
Qualifications
- Certification or degree in Bharatanatyam, Carnatic Music, or the respective instrument is preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience (Freshers with strong practical skills may also apply).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
- Ability to teach children and adults.
- Good classroom management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of practical and theory examinations.
- Experience preparing students for performances.
- Ability to teach both beginners and advanced learners.
- Punctual, patient, and committed to student development.
