Key ResponsibilitiesSafety Management
- Implement and monitor the organization's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of production floors, warehouses, utilities, and common areas.
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by employees and contractors.
- Monitor compliance with safety standards and legal requirements.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, Fire & Safety Regulations, and other applicable legal requirements.
- Coordinate with government authorities during inspections and audits.
- Maintain all safety-related documentation, permits, licenses, and records.
Incident Investigation
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare incident reports and submit them to management.
- Track and monitor closure of corrective actions.
Training & Awareness
- Conduct safety induction training for new employees and contractors.
- Organize awareness programs, toolbox talks, and safety campaigns.
- Promote a positive safety culture through employee engagement activities.
- Conduct training on emergency response, fire safety, and first aid.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain safety records, inspection reports, training records, and compliance documents.
- Prepare monthly safety performance reports and MIS reports.
- Monitor safety KPIs and recommend improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- M.Tech Industrial Safety ( DISH Approved) or Dip in RLI
Experience
- 2 + years of experience in Safety/EHS functions within the Garments, Textile, Manufacturing, or Industrial sector.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and statutory compliance.
- Fire safety and emergency management knowledge.
- Risk assessment and hazard identification skills.
- Incident investigation and reporting.
- Good communication and training skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and production departments.
Pay: Up to ₹800,000.00 per year
