Production Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise daily production activities to achieve targets and delivery timelines.
- Prepare production schedules based on orders, manpower, machinery, and material availability.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
- Ensure timely availability of materials and coordinate with the stores/purchase team.
- Check and maintain accurate measurements, dimensions, and product specifications.
- Read and understand mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
- Supervise workers and ensure proper utilization of manpower and machinery.
- Monitor production quality, material wastage, machine downtime, and overall productivity.
- Maintain daily production, inventory, and quality reports.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Purchase, and Stores departments for smooth operations.
- Identify production issues and take corrective actions to maintain efficiency and quality.
- Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in production/manufacturing supervision; freshers are not eligible.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in production/manufacturing supervision preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical machinery, components, tools, and manufacturing processes.
- Good knowledge of measurement instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Measuring Tape, etc.
- Good understanding of production planning, inventory management, and quality control.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
