Job Summary: Gaj Group is seeking a strong, proactive, assertive, and result-driven HR Head to lead and manage the Human Resources function. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong decision-making abilities, excellent grievance-handling skills, and a proven track record in managing employee relations, discipline, and organizational growth. The candidate must be capable of handling complex workplace situations, resolving conflicts effectively, implementing HR policies, and fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and high performance. This role requires someone who can take ownership, make firm decisions when required, and act as a trusted partner to management.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Operations & Leadership
- Lead and manage all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance
- Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and organizational standards
- Drive a culture of discipline, accountability, and high performance
- Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives Employee Relations & Grievance Handling
- Handle employee grievances, complaints, disputes, and workplace conflicts effectively
- Conduct grievance investigations and ensure timely and fair resolutions
- Manage disciplinary actions and policy violations with fairness and firmness
- Act as a mediator in conflict situations to maintain a positive workplace environment Decision Making & Problem Solving
- Take firm, fair, and timely decisions in sensitive HR matters
- Identify HR risks and implement proactive solutions
- Handle challenging situations with maturity and sound judgment
- Provide business-focused solutions to people-management issues Recruitment & Talent Management
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition activities
- Develop workforce planning and succession planning strategies
- Ensure smooth onboarding and employee integration Performance Management
- Drive performance appraisal systems and employee evaluations
- Work with department heads to improve productivity and accountability
- Support employee training, development, and career growth Compliance & Policy Management
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements
- Maintain HR records, employee files, and documentation
- Keep management updated on legal and compliance changes Administrative & Digital Proficiency
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in Google Workspace tools (Google Sheets, Docs, Drive, Forms)
- Ability to maintain HR reports, dashboards, and data tracking systems efficiently Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in HR, Business Administration
- Minimum 4–5 years of HR experience in a leadership or managerial role
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, labor laws, and compliance
- Experience in grievance handling, disciplinary management, and conflict resolution
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Preferred Candidate Profile
