Responsibilities
- Install and configure IP CCTV, HD CCTV, DVR, NVR, and surveillance systems.
- Perform CCTV camera mounting, alignment, focusing, and commissioning.
- Install and terminate Cat6/Cat6A, fiber optic and coaxial cables as required.
- Configure IP addresses, network connectivity, and camera communication.
- Configure NVR/DVR recording, storage, playback, and backup settings.
- Configure remote CCTV viewing through computers and mobile applications.
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of cameras, NVRs, switches, PoE switches, and related equipment.
- Identify and rectify camera faults, network issues, power issues, and connectivity problems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of CCTV systems.
- Read and understand CCTV layouts, schematic drawings, floor plans, and cable schedules.
- Maintain proper cable dressing, labeling, termination, and equipment installation standards.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, clients, and other ELV teams.
- Prepare installation/testing reports and maintain site documentation.
- Ensure installations comply with project specifications and safety requirements.
- Provide technical support during system testing and commissioning.
Required Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of IP CCTV and Analog CCTV systems.
- Knowledge of DVR/NVR configuration and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of PoE switches, Ethernet, LAN, TCP/IP, IP addressing, and basic networking.
- Knowledge of Cat6/Cat6A cable termination and testing.
- Basic knowledge of fiber optic connectivity is preferred.
- Ability to use cable testers, multimeters, and other basic testing tools.
- Knowledge of CCTV VMS/software will be an advantage.
- Ability to troubleshoot camera, network, recording, and power-related issues.
- Knowledge of basic electrical and ELV installation practices.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
