A Two-Wheeler Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining motorcycles, scooters, and other two-wheelers. The mechanic ensures vehicles are safe, efficient, and functioning properly according to manufacturer standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesVehicle Inspection & Diagnosis
- Inspect two-wheelers for mechanical and electrical faults
- Identify engine, transmission, brake, and suspension issues
- Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment
Repair & Maintenance
- Perform periodic servicing and preventive maintenance
- Repair or replace faulty components
- Change engine oil, filters, brake pads, chains, spark plugs, etc.
- Tune engines for proper performance
Electrical System Work
- Check batteries, lighting systems, horn, ignition, and wiring
- Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults
- Handle fuel injection and ECU-related basic issues
Testing & Quality Check
- Conduct road tests after repair
- Ensure proper functioning and safety of the vehicle
- Maintain workshop quality standards
Customer Service
- Explain repair work and maintenance needs to customers
- Provide estimated repair time and costs
- Maintain professional behavior and communication
Documentation
- Maintain job cards and service records
- Record spare parts usage and completed work details
Educational Qualification
- ITI in Motor Mechanic Vehicle (MMV) or equivalent
- Diploma in Automobile Engineering (preferred)
- Apprenticeship or workshop experience is an advantage
- Freshers also can apply.
Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
