Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Executive / Officer
Job Summary
The QA Executive is responsible for ensuring that all FMCG products meet company quality standards, food safety regulations, and statutory compliance requirements. The role involves monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, maintaining documentation, and ensuring consistent product quality.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuality System Management
- Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Ensure compliance with ISO, HACCP, GMP, FSSAI, and other applicable standards.
- Develop and update SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Production Quality Monitoring
- Monitor all stages of production to ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct in-process and final product inspections.
- Verify raw material quality before production use.
- Ensure proper hygiene and sanitation in production areas.
Testing & Inspection
- Perform quality checks on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
- Coordinate with laboratory for product testing.
- Record and analyze quality test results.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain all quality records, reports, and audit documentation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
- Report deviations, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
Food Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external audits.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Coordination
- Work closely with production, packing, warehouse, and maintenance teams.
- Train staff on hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
- Support management in improving product quality and reducing wastage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
- Diploma in Quality Assurance or Food Safety preferred.
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in FMCG / Food Industry.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, FSSAI).
- Understanding of quality testing methods and procedures.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Reduction in product defects and complaints.
- Compliance with quality standards and audits.
- Accuracy of quality reports and documentation.
- Timely identification and resolution of quality issues.
- Improvement in overall product consistency.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
