Job Summary
Ecostan India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Store Manager to manage complete store and inventory operations at our manufacturing facility. The candidate should have strong experience in material management, inventory control, warehouse operations, manpower handling, and coordination with Production, Purchase, PPC, Accounts, and Dispatch teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day store and warehouse operations
- Ensure proper receipt, storage, identification, and issue of materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
- Monitor inward and outward movement of raw materials, components, consumables, and finished goods
- Ensure timely availability of materials for production requirements
- Coordinate with Purchase, PPC, Production, Quality, Accounts, and Dispatch departments
- Supervise loading, unloading, material handling, and storage activities
- Maintain proper documentation for material receipts, issues, transfers, and returns
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and cycle counting
- Identify and resolve stock discrepancies and inventory-related issues
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, excess, and shortage materials
- Ensure proper material identification, labeling, bin management, and location control
- Implement and maintain 5S and proper housekeeping in store and warehouse areas
- Monitor and control material wastage, damage, and losses
- Manage and guide store and warehouse staff
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and store MIS reports
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety procedures, and inventory control systems
- Support internal and external audits related to stores and inventory
- Improve store processes, inventory accuracy, and material handling efficiency
Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
- Graduate qualification with relevant experience may also be considered
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Store/Inventory/Warehouse Management
- Strong experience in manufacturing industry is preferred
- Experience in managing store teams and large-scale inventory operations

Preferred Experience

- Experience in handling large manufacturing stores and inventory
- Knowledge of BOM, material codes, stock reconciliation, and inventory planning
- Experience with Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems
- Experience in coordinating with Purchase, PPC, Production, Quality, Accounts, and Dispatch
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures, FIFO/FEFO, and material traceability
- Experience in implementing 5S, Kaizen, and process improvement
- Strong knowledge of store documentation, audit compliance, and inventory reporting
