Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline
- 1 to 5 years of experience in project engineering, inspection, design support, or site execution support roles
- Experience in irrigation, water supply, automation, SCADA, or EPC projects will be an advantage
- Working knowledge of CAD software such as PTC Creo, AutoCAD, or equivalent
- Exposure to SCADA systems and field instrumentation is preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute detailed engineering support activities including inspection, design assistance, and site coordination for smart irrigation and water supply projects

Prepare and review technical documents including inspection reports (SIR, MOM, ITR), datasheets, MTC verification records, test certificates, and quality documentation

Perform online, onsite, and factory inspections for OMS, valves, flowmeters, panels, and instrumentation to ensure compliance with approved specifications
-
Support 2D and 3D design activities for OMS enclosures, manifolds, valve assemblies, and instrumentation layouts using approved CAD tools
-
Assist in preparation and review of GA drawings, installation drawings, and SOPs for OMS and field installations

Provide site-level technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning of OMS, SCADA, and instrumentation systems

Coordinate with SCADA and communication teams for device connectivity, signal mapping support, and basic network testing

Support integration of field instruments including flowmeters, pressure sensors, level sensors, valves, and RTUs
-
Conduct digital site surveys, gateway mapping, and communication feasibility checks
-
Coordinate with vendors for manufacturing updates, inspections, audits, and technical clarifications
-
Support departmental and client inspections and ensure timely technical approvals

Maintain structured records of inspections, design revisions, site observations, and closure actions
Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of inspection procedures, quality standards, and material compliance

Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD design for mechanical or electrical components such as OMS enclosures, manifolds, and panels
-
Practical knowledge of OMS, SCADA systems, RTUs, and field instrumentation used in irrigation projects

Understanding of control panels, cabling, termination, and basic automation logic

Familiarity with flowmeters, valves, air valves, DPCVs, strainers, and associated fittings
-
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs
-
Hands-on exposure to site installation, testing, and commissioning activities
-
Knowledge of digital survey tools, gateway planning, and basic communication testing
-
Effective coordination and communication skills with vendors, site teams, and internal departments
-
High level of technical discipline, documentation accuracy, and quality focus
