The Role
We're looking for a senior Unix Expert Engineer to lead complex infrastructure initiatives across global Unix environments. You'll drive technical strategy, architect high-availability solutions, mentor engineers, and ensure mission-critical systems run reliably across on-premises and cloud environments.
What You'll Do
- Provide senior-level operational support for AIX, Oracle/Solaris, and Linux (x86) environments across multi-datacenter setups
- Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analyses, and resolution of escalated incidents and performance issues
- Architect and implement HA solutions, automation pipelines, and OS lifecycle management (patching, firmware, builds)
- Define and enforce technical standards aligned with ITIL processes
- Integrate and support Unix environments with Azure and cloud platforms
- Mentor engineers and influence stakeholders on system design, capacity planning, and service delivery
What You Bring
- 7–10+ years in Unix infrastructure engineering across large-scale environments
- Deep expertise in NAS/SAN storage, preferably NetApp
- Strong scripting and automation skills
- Experience with ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change management
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
