Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and responsible ITI Electrician to handle the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults and breakdowns.
- Repair and replace switches, sockets, lights, fans, MCBs, DBs, and other electrical components.
- Maintain electrical panels, motors, cables, earthing systems, and related equipment.
- Read and understand basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Use testing instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and procedures.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance and repair work.
- Report major faults and safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of electrical rooms and work areas.
- Support emergency electrical maintenance requirements when necessary.
Qualifications
- ITI certificate in Electrician / Electrical Trade from a recognized institution.
- Relevant experience in electrical maintenance is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, panels, motors, and electrical safety.
Skills & Competencies
- Electrical troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Knowledge of electrical tools and testing equipment.
- Ability to read basic electrical diagrams.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
Experience
- Fresher or 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Candidates with experience in schools, commercial buildings, residential facilities, or industrial maintenance will be preferred.
Reporting To
Maintenance Supervisor / Facilities Manager
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
