Job purpose: PHP Developer is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and production release.
Role, & Responsibility o Core Development Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary. Develop server-side logic and back-end components using PHP frameworks (e.g., CodeIgniter, etc.). Integrate third-party APIs and web services. Build and maintain MySQL databases and optimize queries. o Collaboration and Integration Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, QA, and project managers to meet deadlines and deliver quality features. Participate in Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. o Testing and Debugging Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure application stability. Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications and offer timely resolutions. o Security and Performance Follow security best practices to prevent common vulnerabilities. Optimize application performance and scalability.
