Crunnchy Foods is a fast-growing FMCG company committed to delivering high-quality food products to customers across Tamil Nadu. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sales Officer to expand our market presence, strengthen distributor networks, and drive sales growth in Trichy and the surrounding areas.
Job Summary
The Sales Officer will be responsible for developing sales, managing distributors, expanding retail coverage, increasing product visibility, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in FMCG sales and a proven ability to build lasting customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop new distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key accounts.
- Strengthen relationships with existing distributors and retail partners.
- Increase product availability and visibility across the assigned territory.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor sales performance and competitor activities.
- Ensure proper merchandising and execution of promotional activities.
- Coordinate with distributors to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Ensure timely collection of payments from customers.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor pricing, products, and promotions.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA in Marketing is an added advantage).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong planning, reporting, and analytical abilities.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
