At ideaForge Technology, we are pioneering the future of autonomous flight. We design, manufacture, and deploy cutting-edge Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) that solve complex challenges across industries—from defence and infrastructure inspection to emergency response and delivery.
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Product Manager/Product Manager to join our product team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between customer needs, hardware engineering, and manufacturing. You will help plan the lifecycle of our UAV platforms and payloads from concept to production. - Product Development & Roadmap: Assist in executing the product roadmap for our UAV systems. Work closely with project team to mitigate development challenges and provide requirements clarity to development teams
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer interviews to identify pain points and translate them into actionable product requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware, electronics, and software engineering teams to ensure requirements alignment
- Product Documentation: Assist in framing clear and concise Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), user stories, concept of operations and acceptance criteria.
- Sales and Marketing Support: Collaborate extensively with the sales, marketing, and customer success teams to improve tender participation, prepare marketing collateral and include customer feedback as part of product development
- Regulatory Alignment: Coordinate with production & engineering to support the product and regulatory/certification teams in ensuring our UAVs comply with relevant aviation regulations (e.g., DGCA, FAA, EASA) and industry standards.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science), Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in product management, project management, systems engineering, or a related role within the tech or hardware sector.
- Industry Knowledge: A strong interest in the UAV, aerospace, or robotics industry. Familiarity with drone technology, or autonomous systems is a significant plus.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to grasp complex hardware and software concepts and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of successfully aligning cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience working on hardware/software integrated products (IoT, robotics, automotive).
- Prior experience working on or designing UAVs
