Key Responsibilities
- Design industrial machines, special-purpose machines (SPMs), automation equipment, and mechanical assemblies.
- Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, or Inventor.
- Prepare assembly drawings, detail drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Select standard mechanical components such as bearings, motors, gearboxes, couplings, linear guides, ball screws, belts, chains, and pneumatic/hydraulic components.
- Perform engineering calculations for shafts, gears, frames, structures, and power transmission systems.
- Apply GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
- Coordinate with production, fabrication, machining, and assembly teams to ensure manufacturability.
- Support prototype development, machine assembly, testing, installation, and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot design-related issues and implement engineering changes.
- Optimize machine designs to improve performance, reliability, safety, and cost.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and applicable engineering standards.
- Maintain design documentation, revision history, and engineering records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in machine design or machine manufacturing (depending on the role).
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar CAD software.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, welding, sheet metal, and assembly.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
