Electrical Engineering Intern (Industrial Machinery & Control Systems)
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Intern to support our machinery development and industrial automation projects. The ideal candidate will assist in the design, wiring, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems, control panels, and industrial machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
∙ Assist in machine wiring, installation, and commissioning of industrial equipment
∙ Support the design, assembly, and troubleshooting of electrical control panels
∙ Work with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), motors, contactors, relays, and protection devices
∙ Assist in power distribution planning, power factor correction, and electrical load analysis
∙ Read, prepare, and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
∙ Support preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems and machinery
∙ Coordinate with mechanical and production teams to ensure smooth project execution
∙ Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications:
∙ Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), or a related field
∙ Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and electrical safety practices
∙ Familiarity with VFDs, MCCBs, contactors, relays, capacitor banks, and power factor correction systems
∙ Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
∙ Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical design software is preferred
∙ Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills
∙ Willingness to work hands-on with industrial machinery and control systems
