Job Summary
The Warranty Incharge is responsible for handling all warranty-related activities in the dealership, ensuring accurate claim processing, proper documentation, coordination with manufacturer representatives, and timely submission and settlement of warranty claims. The role ensures compliance with company and OEM warranty policies while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesWarranty Claim Processing
- Prepare and submit warranty claims to the manufacturer within stipulated timelines.
- Verify warranty eligibility of vehicles and spare parts.
- Ensure proper documentation for all warranty jobs and claims.
- Track approval and rejection status of submitted claims.
Documentation & Record Maintenance
- Maintain warranty registers, claim files, and digital records accurately.
- Preserve defective parts as per OEM guidelines for audits or inspections.
- Ensure job cards and supporting documents are properly attached.
Coordination
- Coordinate with service advisors, technicians, and spare parts department regarding warranty jobs.
- Communicate with OEM warranty team for approvals and clarifications.
- Assist customers regarding warranty policies and claim status.
Audit & Compliance
- Prepare for internal and manufacturer warranty audits.
- Ensure adherence to manufacturer warranty procedures and dealership policies.
- Identify claim errors and take corrective actions to avoid rejections.
Reporting
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly warranty reports.
- Monitor warranty claim pending status and settlement updates.
- Analyze recurring failures and report abnormal trends to management.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of two-wheeler service and spare parts.
- Understanding of OEM warranty policies and procedures.
- Good documentation and computer skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and dealership management systems (DMS).
- Strong coordination and communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills.
Qualification
- Any Degree / Diploma preferred.
- Experience in automobile dealership service operations is an advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years experience in warranty handling or service administration in automobile/two-wheeler dealership preferred.

Working Conditions
- Based at dealership service center.
- Coordination with workshop, spare parts, and OEM representatives required.
- May require extended hours during audits or month-end closing.
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
