Job Summary
The Construction Head is responsible for overall planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of construction projects within timelines, budget, and quality standards. The role involves managing site operations, contractors, project teams, safety compliance, client coordination, and ensuring smooth execution of residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Lead end-to-end construction activities from project initiation to handover.
- Prepare project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Ensure timely completion of projects within approved budget and quality standards.
- Monitor daily site progress and resolve execution challenges.
2. Site & Construction Management
- Supervise all site activities including RCC, finishing, masonry, waterproofing, plastering, structural, and civil works.
- Ensure proper manpower, machinery, and material utilization.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Review drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications before execution.
3. Team Management
- Lead and manage project managers, engineers, supervisors, and site staff.
- Conduct regular review meetings and performance monitoring.
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to teams.
4. Quality & Safety Control
- Ensure adherence to construction quality standards and safety regulations.
- Monitor implementation of EHS/HSE policies at sites.
- Conduct quality inspections and safety audits.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and client requirements.
5. Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, clients, and government authorities.
- Attend client meetings and provide project progress updates.
- Handle project escalations and maintain strong client relationships.
6. Budgeting & Cost Control
- Monitor project costing, billing, and budget utilization.
- Control material wastage and project expenses.
- Review contractor bills, procurement plans, and vendor performance.
7. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project reports, MIS, DPR, and construction documentation.
- Prepare progress reports for management review.
- Ensure all project records and approvals are properly maintained.
Qualifications & Experience
- BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 12–20 years of experience in construction/project execution.
- Experience in Residential, Commercial, Industrial, or Villa Projects.
- Strong knowledge of RCC, structural work, finishing, and project management.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent project planning and execution ability.
- Knowledge of construction methodologies and safety standards.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, Excel, and project reporting tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
