Job Summary:
Growth System is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage the company's financial records, transactions, and reporting activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and financial compliance, along with the ability to maintain accurate financial records and support business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update daily accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Maintain accurate records of expenses, income, and financial documents.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions when required.
- Verify financial data and identify discrepancies for correction.
- Support payroll processing and employee reimbursement activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Experience with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in preparing financial statements and MIS reports.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and tax regulations.
- Experience working with ERP-based accounting systems.
- Familiarity with auditing procedures and financial compliance requirements.
- M.Com, CA Inter, or equivalent accounting qualifications will be an added advantage.
