Job Summary
The Electrical & Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and reliability of all electrical systems, machinery, and plant utilities. The role focuses on minimizing equipment downtime, ensuring safety compliance, and improving maintenance processes to support uninterrupted production.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and monitor preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all electrical systems, machinery, and utilities.
- Lead and manage the maintenance team, including electricians and technicians.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate installation, commissioning, and modification of new equipment.
- Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
- Monitor maintenance costs and optimize resource utilization.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in electrical and plant maintenance, preferably in the FMCG, food processing, or manufacturing industry.
- Experience in leading maintenance teams and handling plant utilities is preferred.
