Key Responsibilities:-
Team Management & Oversight:
- Manage, mentor, and motivate the team to ensure optimal performance, effective workload distribution, and timely delivery of responsibilities.
- Conduct regular team reviews and governance meetings to monitor operational priorities, track key deliverables, and escalate critical matters to management when required.
- Act as a subject matter expert on complex credit arrangements, covenant frameworks, facility amendments, waivers, and exception handling.
- Function as the key point of escalation for covenant-related, compliance, and facility management issues raised by internal stakeholders.
Covenant Administration & Risk Monitoring:
- Lead the end-to-end monitoring and review of borrower covenant obligations, including both financial and non-financial requirements.
- Ensure covenant breaches, exceptions, and emerging risks are assessed promptly, routed through appropriate approval channels, and escalated where necessary.
- Oversee the preparation, validation, and timely completion of Annual Credit Reviews, Monitoring Reports, and Trigger Reports, ensuring all follow-up actions are addressed.
- Ensure covenant outcomes, action plans, and compliance status are accurately maintained within internal systems and management reporting tools.
Portfolio Management & Data Governance:
- Supervise the maintenance and accuracy of portfolio reporting, including price monitoring, credit balance tracking, and facility management reports.
- Review borrower and obligor structures to ensure accurate registration of entities, related parties, and shareholder relationships within internal records.
- Ensure all facility events, including new bookings, repayments, refinancings, and amendments, are correctly reflected across relevant systems and databases.
- Maintain high standards of data quality, documentation integrity, and audit readiness across the credit portfolio.
Operational Excellence & Control Framework:
- Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency by addressing process inefficiencies, control weaknesses, and recurring operational challenges.
- Drive process improvement initiatives aimed at strengthening controls, improving reporting quality, and standardizing workflows across the function.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and alignment of credit administration and monitoring activities.
- Foster a strong control-focused and risk-conscious environment through coaching, process documentation, and adherence to governance standards.
