Role Summary:
We're hiring a Pre-Sales Consultant to be the technical bridge between our engineering teams and defence and government buyers — DRDO labs, MoD units, PSUs, and system integrators. You'll own technical positioning, proof-of-concept delivery, and RFP/tender responses across our satellite & space cybersecurity, drone security, SDR/RF security, and PKI/quantum-safe cryptography lines, translating deep technical capability into solutions that mission stakeholders can evaluate and buy.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the business development team on defence and government accounts to understand mission requirements, threat models, and procurement processes.
Translate technical capabilities — PKI and quantum-resistant cryptography, CCSDS/satellite protocols, MAVLink and C2 link security, SDR/RF hardening, cryptographic module compliance under India's IT Act/CCA framework — into clear solution narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Lead technical discovery calls, site visits, and stakeholder briefings with defence and government customers.
Design and deliver proofs-of-concept and live technical demonstrations across satellite/space cyber, drone/UAV security, and SDR/RF capability areas.
Own the technical sections of RFP, RFI, and tender responses, working with engineering and the technical writing team to produce compliant, credible submissions aligned to DRDO/MoD procurement formats.
Build and maintain technical collateral — solution briefs, architecture diagrams, and capability decks — with correct handling of sensitive and controlled information.
Track the competitive landscape and relevant compliance frameworks (MoD Cyber Security Policy, CERT-In guidelines, ISRO/DRDO standards) that shape active bids.
Support pricing and BOM discussions with technical trade-off input, and coordinate with legal on NDA, export-control, and classification requirements.
- 3-5 years of experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical account management, ideally within defence electronics, aerospace, satcom, or cybersecurity.
Demonstrated prior experience working within the Indian defence industry — DRDO, MoD, Defence PSUs, or a defence-focused System Integrator/OEM — is required.
Working knowledge of at least two of: satellite/space systems (CCSDS, ground segment operations), drone/UAV platforms and C2 links (MAVLink, PX4/ArduPilot), SDR/RF security (GNU Radio, SDR hardware), or PKI/cryptography (X.509, IT Act/CCA crypto compliance, post-quantum crypto).
Familiarity with Indian defence procurement processes (DRDO, MoD Cyber Security Policy, GeM/tender workflows).
Comfortable presenting technical material to both engineers and senior government/defence stakeholders.
Strong technical proposal writing and documentation skills.
Engineering degree (CS, ECE, Aerospace, or related field); willing to travel to defence and government establishments.
Indian citizenship required given the nature of defence engagements; eligibility for security clearance a plus.
Nice to have:
Direct experience on ISRO-affiliated space programmes.
Bilingual in Hindi and English for government stakeholder communication.
Relevant certifications in RF engineering, cryptography, or embedded security.
