We are looking for an experienced Piping Designer with strong expertise in AutoCAD Plant 3D and CADWorx for Oil & Gas industry projects. Candidates who can join immediately will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed piping layouts, GA drawings, isometrics, and piping models.
- Prepare equipment layout and piping routing as per project standards.
- Work on 3D modeling using AutoCAD Plant 3D and CADWorx.
- Generate piping deliverables including:
- Plot plans
- Piping layouts
- Isometric drawings
- MTOs
- Support drawings
- Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil, and electrical disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications, ASME/API standards, and safety requirements.
- Participate in design reviews and model reviews.
- Resolve design clashes and support project execution teams.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- AutoCAD Plant 3D
- CADWorx
- AutoCAD
- Experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Refinery projects.
- Knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API).
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling and clash detection.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Preferred
- Experience working with EPC companies.
- Gulf/Middle East project experience is an advantage.
- Immediate joiners highly preferred.
