Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and clinically competent Physician Assistant to support consultants and medical teams in patient care activities. The candidate will assist in patient assessment, clinical documentation, treatment coordination, and day-to-day inpatient and outpatient management under the supervision of senior doctors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist consultants and duty doctors in patient evaluation and clinical care
- Take patient history and record vital signs accurately
- Assist in preparing and maintaining patient case sheets and medical documentation
- Coordinate investigations, follow-up care, and treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and report changes promptly to doctors
- Assist during clinical procedures and emergency situations when required
- Communicate effectively with patients and relatives regarding routine care instructions
- Coordinate with nursing, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and other departments
- Ensure timely updating of medical records and discharge summaries
- Maintain infection control, patient safety, and hospital protocol standards
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies / Clinical Assistant Program / Allied Health Sciences
- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply
- Experience in hospital or clinical settings preferred
Preferred Skills
- Good clinical knowledge and patient handling skills
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Team-oriented and disciplined approach to patient care
- Basic emergency and first aid knowledge preferred
