Education : ITI / Diploma /Degree/Printing Technology
Mfg Exp : Barcode Printing/UV-Printing
Salary : CTC 3.60 Lacs to 4.80 Lacs
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate Variable Data Printing (VDP) machine
· Ensure print quality, alignment, and accuracy
· Set ink parameters and job configuration
· Verify material quality before production
· Reduce wastage and rework
· Maintain production and job reports
· Ensure Barcode Approval Process and Quality As per Art Work
VDP Machine Operator – Specific Tasks
Job Setup
· Load correct artwork / variable data file (barcode/QR/serial data)
· Verify job order against approved artwork and sample
· Set ink density, resolution, and print alignment parameters
Printing Operation
· Run VDP machine as per job schedule
· Ensure correct sequence numbering or variable data accuracy
· Maintain print registration and barcode readability
Quality Assurance
· Perform barcode scan test and readability verification
· Check print smudging, missing data, misalignment
· Ensure first-piece approval before full production
Material Control
· Inspect substrate before printing (film/paper/label quality)
· Prevent contamination or static issues during printing
Waste Reduction
· Minimize misprint, data mismatch, and reprint cycles
· Segregate rejected rolls with proper labeling
Compliance & Reporting
· Maintain job-wise traceability records
· Record ink consumption and job output
