Position: Transition HOTO Engineer – Mechanical / Electrical/ (Electronics/LV/IT) Mumbai.

What this job involves We're looking for a Transition Engineer specializing in Mechanical / Electrical/ (Electronics/LV/IT) systems to join our team. In this role, you'll lead the technical aspects of transitioning building operations between service providers or from construction to operations, ensuring seamless continuity of mechanical systems and infrastructure. Conduct comprehensive mechanical system assessments during property transitions, documenting equipment specifications, maintenance history, and operational parameters
Develop detailed transition plans for HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems, identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to establish mechanical service levels, preventative maintenance schedules, and operational protocols
Perform gap analysis between current system performance and desired standards, recommending improvements or upgrades where needed
Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, industry regulations, and sustainability standards
Create and implement commissioning or recommissioning protocols for mechanical equipment during transitions
Manage mechanical equipment inventory, warranty information, and service documentation
Train on-site teams on mechanical system operation, troubleshooting procedures, and emergency protocols
Support the development of energy efficiency strategies and sustainability initiatives during transitions
Provide technical guidance to resolve complex mechanical issues that arise during the transition process.
Conduct comprehensive electrical system assessments during property transitions, documenting power distribution equipment, lighting systems, emergency power, and specialized electrical infrastructure
Develop detailed transition plans for electrical systems, identifying potential risks, load requirements, and system vulnerabilities
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to establish electrical service levels, maintenance protocols, and safety procedures
Perform gap analysis between current electrical system performance and desired standards, recommending improvements or code compliance upgrades
Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), local electrical codes, and safety regulations
Create and implement electrical system commissioning or testing protocols during transitions
Manage electrical equipment inventory, warranty documentation, and service records
Train on-site teams on electrical system operation, safety procedures, and emergency response protocols
Support the development of energy efficiency strategies and electrical load optimization during transitions
Coordinate with utility providers for service transfers, metering changes, and power quality assessments
Provide technical guidance to resolve complex electrical issues that arise during the transition process
Facilitate the services under the Slogan “No Safety No Work”.

Your role will involve coordination with various teams/ vendors. You will be paying attention to detail and have excellent problem-solving skills. You will be using logic to trouble-shoot problems; and assign and monitor maintenance projects. You should have a good knowledge of the working procedures for fitout.
Qualifications
You will have a Degree / Diploma or relevant educational background in Civil Engineering with minimum 1-2 years of work experience.
