Workforce Staffing (WFS), a division of Worldwide Operations People, Product & Tech, manages Amazon’s Tier 1 talent supply chain. We attract, hire, and onboard the associates who, by fulfilling orders at the frontlines of the company, make Amazon a global leader in delivery and logistics.
The WFS specialist will lead multiple programs and projects in workforce staffing. The role holder may operate in a complex environment managing projects in multiple disciplines that involves(but not limited to) vendor strategy and management, process and productivity improvement, market intelligence, go-to-market strategies, employer branding, compliance, building tech products etc.
Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute initiatives, lead analysis and develop and communicate final recommendations for growing partner relationships;
- Develop, negotiate and manage vendor partner agreements;
- Assist with coordinating the management of ongoing relationships with existing vendor partners and where relevant, leverage those relationships to greater collective impact;
- Support the analysis and tracking of key metrics to evaluate immediate and long-term success of partnerships and relationships;
Identify opportunity areas in building an inclusive workplace for underrepresented cohorts at Amazon and drive alignment with senior leadership across functions - creating detailed proposal and implementation roadmaps covering infrastructure accommodations, systems, process and technology and communications and sensitization ;
- Support the development and implementation plans to support community engagement efforts at the grassroots level in partnership with WFS staffing and sourcing managers;
- Support increasing goodwill and knowledge of hourly job opportunities with national, state and local influencers through experiential learning opportunities (e.g. tours, speaking engagements, and workshops);
- Partner with internal stakeholders, such as recruiting and sourcing management teams; military recruiters; public policy teams (state and local); public relations teams; local operations and HR teams, diversity and inclusion teams, etc. to ensure alignment;
