About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Camera & Lighting Assistant to join our in-house creative team for a leading jewellery brand. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of camera handling, lighting, product photography and video shooting, with a strong interest in jewellery and commercial content production.
You will work closely with our content, photography and video team to create high-quality jewellery product photos, reels, social media videos and promotional content.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the camera team during jewellery photoshoots and video shoots.
- Set up and operate basic studio lighting equipment.
- Assist with camera setup, lenses, tripods and other shooting equipment.
- Support jewellery product photography and video production.
- Ensure proper lighting, exposure, focus and framing.
- Assist in shooting Instagram Reels, product videos and promotional campaigns.
- Help maintain and organize cameras, lights, stands and other equipment.
- Work with the creative team to achieve the required visual style.
- Assist during indoor and outdoor brand shoots when required.
- Learn and improve professional jewellery photography and videography techniques.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in photography, videography or lighting.
- Freshers with relevant knowledge or practical experience are welcome.
- Basic knowledge of DSLR/Mirrorless cameras and studio lighting.
- Good understanding of light positioning, exposure and composition.
- Interest in jewellery, fashion, product photography or commercial content.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Ability to work as part of a creative production team.
- Good attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Sony/Canon/Nikon cameras.
- Basic knowledge of continuous lights, softboxes, reflectors and flashes.
- Basic knowledge of jewellery/product photography.
- Knowledge of video shooting for Instagram and YouTube.
- Basic understanding of Photoshop, Lightroom or video editing is an advantage.
