Role Overview
OKNA is looking for a highly experienced Factory Head to oversee complete factory operations for aluminium and uPVC windows and doors manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, quality control, manpower management, dispatch coordination, machine maintenance, and ensuring timely project execution.
The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and hands-on experience in fabrication and manufacturing processes related to aluminium and uPVC systems.
Key Responsibilities Production Management
- Manage complete factory operations including fabrication, assembly, glazing, and dispatch.
- Ensure daily production targets are achieved efficiently.
- Plan manpower, machinery utilization, and production schedules.
- Monitor workflow and improve productivity across departments.
Quality Control
- Ensure high-quality fabrication and finishing standards.
- Conduct quality inspections at various production stages.
- Implement SOPs and quality processes to minimize errors and rework.
- Ensure proper handling of profiles, glass, and hardware materials.
Operations & Coordination
- Coordinate with technical, CRM, sales, and site teams for project timelines.
- Ensure timely dispatches as per project schedules.
- Monitor inventory, material consumption, and wastage control.
- Coordinate with procurement for raw material planning.
Team Leadership
- Supervise factory staff, supervisors, machine operators, and helpers.
- Maintain discipline, productivity, and operational efficiency within the factory.
- Train staff on production standards, safety practices, and machine handling.
Maintenance & Safety
- Ensure proper maintenance of machinery and factory equipment.
- Maintain factory safety standards and operational compliance.
- Improve factory systems and workflow processes continuously.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Strong experience in aluminium and uPVC windows & doors manufacturing.
- Knowledge of fabrication machinery, cutting optimization, glazing, and assembly.
- Strong leadership and production planning skills.
- Ability to handle factory operations under deadlines.
- Good communication and team management abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in premium aluminium systems and customized projects.
- Knowledge of ERP/software used in manufacturing operations.
- Exposure to high-volume production management.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
