Job Summary
The Data Executive – Inventory Operations is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock movements, updating ERP systems, preparing inventory reports, and supporting inventory control activities. The role ensures data accuracy and helps optimize stock management across stores and warehouses.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update inventory data in ERP/software systems.
- Monitor stock receipts, transfers, returns, and dispatches.
- Verify inventory transactions and ensure data accuracy.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Reconcile physical stock with system stock records.
- Identify inventory discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
- Support stock audits and cycle count activities.
- Prepare MIS reports related to inventory performance.
- Coordinate with stores, warehouses, procurement, and finance teams.
- Track slow-moving, non-moving, and damaged inventory.
- Ensure proper documentation of inventory transactions.
- Maintain data confidentiality and accuracy standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory management, data entry, or warehouse operations.
- Freshers with strong analytical skills may also apply.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Analysis).
- Knowledge of ERP systems and inventory management software.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
