Job Summary
The Operation Head will be responsible for leading end-to-end manufacturing operations, including Production Planning, Purchase, Store, Inventory, Dispatch, and Logistics. The role involves ensuring smooth plant operations, optimizing resources, maintaining inventory accuracy, and achieving production and dispatch targets while ensuring quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations across Production, Purchase, Store, Dispatch, and Logistics.
- Plan production schedules based on customer orders and material availability.
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, components, and consumables.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement effective stock control practices.
- Supervise dispatch planning to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
- Coordinate with Sales, Production, Quality, and Accounts for smooth operational flow.
- Develop and monitor SOPs to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
- Manage vendor selection, supplier performance, and commercial negotiations.
- Analyze operational data, prepare MIS reports, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Drive cost reduction, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA (Operations) will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Control (PPC), Purchase, Store, Inventory Management, Dispatch, and Supply Chain Operations.
- Experience with ERP systems, MS Excel, and MIS reporting.
- Knowledge of inventory control methods such as FIFO, stock reconciliation, and material planning.
- Strong leadership, vendor management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and team coordination abilities.
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
