We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Business Development Executive/Manager to generate new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and increase hotel revenue through corporate sales, travel agents, event companies, and other business channels. The ideal candidate should have experience in the hospitality industry with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and institutional customers.
- Generate room bookings, banquet business, conferences, weddings, and long-stay business.
- Develop and implement business development and sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and business partners.
- Conduct client meetings, hotel presentations, and property visits.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts, and negotiate commercial terms.
- Coordinate with the Reservations, Front Office, Banquet, and Operations teams for smooth execution.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM and submit daily/weekly sales reports.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Represent the hotel at networking events, exhibitions, and trade shows.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business and referrals.
Required Skills
- Strong B2B Sales and Business Development skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Relationship management and client handling.
- Knowledge of the hospitality market and hotel sales processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Willingness to travel within Mumbai, Nashik, and nearby regions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- MBA is an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–7 years of experience in Business Development, Hotel Sales, Hospitality Sales, or Corporate Sales.
- Existing network of corporate clients, travel agents, or event planners will be preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in hotels, resorts, hospitality, travel, or tourism industry.
- Strong understanding of room sales, banquet sales, and corporate tie-ups.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and customer-focused.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
